When you run an analysis in the Fallacy Finder, Bias Checker or Writing Lab, the text is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API, which produces the result you see. This is what makes the analysis possible — the reasoning assessment happens there, not on our own servers.
This is worth knowing before you paste anything in. As a rule, don’t submit anything confidential — unpublished work you need to keep private, personal information about other people, client or student material you don’t have permission to share, or anything covered by a confidentiality agreement.
Note that cancelling Pro deletes nothing — see what happens when a subscription ends. Deletion only ever happens because you asked for it.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers never reach our servers and we can’t see them. What we hold is a reference to your subscription so we know which plan your account is on.
Essential messages — verification, password resets, billing — are tied to your account and can’t be turned off while the account exists. Optional product updates are controlled by the toggle in your profile, and every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.
